Demand access capacity in MW at every Spanish transmission node and distribution busbar, as the regulator compiles it monthly: available by demand type at transmission (CEP with and without voltage-dip ride-through, non-CEP, storage), firm available at distribution, occupied and admitted-not-evaluated.

What is withheld, and why

Every value from this source is withheld. The operator’s terms do not clearly allow us to redistribute its figures, and when signals conflict the more restrictive reading wins until the operator confirms otherwise in writing. Records are still listed — with capacity.value null, access.status "withheld" and a link to the publication — so you know the operator publishes something there.

The publication is still read and kept, because operators overwrite their files and a history not recorded when it happened can never be recovered. If reuse is cleared, customers get the history as well as the present.

The layers, their ArcGIS items (licenseInfo empty) and the landing page carry no licence. CNMC's open-data portal licenses its information for commercial and non-commercial reuse (CC BY-SA 4.0 and Ley 37/2007), but that grant is scoped to the information on the CNMC|Data portal, which has no access-capacity dataset, and Ley 37/2007 excludes documents over which third parties hold rights — these layers are compiled from the operators' submissions, whose own notices reserve commercial use. Pending CNMC's written confirmation (research/dossiers/es.md §13 Q1). Archived, never served.

Each distribution operator's monthly firm demand access capacity per busbar (substation x voltage level) under CNMC's common methodology, as CNMC compiles it: firm available, occupied (connected, permits in force and favourable studies) and admitted but not yet evaluated, in MW.

  • CNMC: 'sus valores no pueden computarse como directamente sumables'; access requests must still go to the network operator.
  • A 0 may be REE's blank (reference value not agreed with the DSO) rewritten by CNMC; see the flag zero_may_mean_not_published.
