What is withheld, and why

Every value from this source is withheld. The operator’s terms do not clearly allow us to redistribute its figures, and when signals conflict the more restrictive reading wins until the operator confirms otherwise in writing. Records are still listed — with capacity.value null, access.status "withheld" and a link to the publication — so you know the operator publishes something there.

The publication is still read and kept, because operators overwrite their files and a history not recorded when it happened can never be recovered. If reuse is cleared, customers get the history as well as the present.

The site's Impressum forbids copying, distributing or modifying its content for commercial purposes and any reproduction or redistribution of the retrieved services, in whole or in part, without prior approval of Österreichs E-Wirtschaft. The figures are statutory publications (§ 99 ElWG), but a publication duty is not a reuse licence. Archived, never served, until Oesterreichs Energie grants a licence (research/dossiers/de-at-ch-it.md §7).

Each Austrian distribution operator's statutory, at least quarterly publication of the available and the booked capacity (MVA) per HV/MV substation, collected on ebUtilities.at. Available is the permissible capacity (from equipment ratings) minus the used (from measured time series) minus the booked (reserved and contractually committed) capacity, per the operators' own descriptions.

  • ebUtilities: the capacities are 'eine unverbindliche Information ohne Rechtsanspruch und eine Momentaufnahme'; questions about a specific connection must go to the operator.
  • Netz Burgenland: small plants may get access even where no free capacity is shown.
